Hello Chapter Officers. Following is updated info on this year’s California State H.O.G. Rally.

2. Chapter Participation – attached is the chapter participation as of July 2nd. There are two chapter challenges, one for the most number of registered riders starting in Jamestown and the second one is for the most number of riders from a chapter starting in Riverside. Each chapter challenge winner is awarded a California State H.O.G. Rally Flag.

3. Volunteering – some of your members individually have asked if they could help with the rally, or some of you have been contacted by friends who can’t make the rally, but would like to help. We do have a solution. Option 1 is to go to the rally website and register to be a volunteer, Option 2 is explained in the attached Volunteer Registration form attached to this e-mail.

• If you are rider and have already registered for the rally, all you need to do is contact V-Rob at volunteercoordinator@2010hogrally.com and Rob can hook you where we need help.

• For all locations, with the exception of taking advantage of the final dinner at Liberty Station in San Diego, there is no cost to help. Please review the Volunteer Registration form for details on being a volunteer.

4. Guest Policy – There seems to be some confusion regarding the California State H.O.G. Rally policy regarding bringing guests. We do allow non H.O.G. member guests, but guests must register the same as a rider. Guest are not eligible to purchase merchandise or to receive H.O.G. related prizes, but guests are welcome to come along. Non-registered guests will not receive a wrist band at check-in. All attendees without a wrist band can not receive any of the meals along the way and can not enter the Opening or Closing Ceremony (Jamestown or Liberty Station in San Diego). Guests are allowed to go on the train ride prior to the Opening Ceremony as this is a Jamestown H-D function.
